
To the Adelaide Cricket Clubs web site. The "buffalos" compete in the South Australian Grade Cricket competition, which is administered by the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA).
The Adelaide Cricket Club was formed on 12th September 1905.
The club has provided many Australian and South Australian cricketers, with names like, Badcock, Causby, Cunningham, Gillespie, Grimmett, Giffen, Hogg, Hammond, Cullen, Nobes, Sincock and Woodcock. International Test Cricketers who have played for Adelaide include Chauhan, Greenidge, Mendis and White. All in all the Adelaide Cricket Club has provided the State with 64 representatives, more than any other grade Club.
Our home is situated at Glandore Oval, Glandore, South Australia. Other grounds used by the club include Bone Timber Reserve (pk23), Adelaide High and the Marion Primary School Oval.
Today we field in the SACA Competition four senior men's teams, four junior boys' teams and one Junior Girls' team.
